April 2014 marks the start of the City of Perth – Eat Drink Perth Festival and boy, is Miss L here at the PFEs excited about it! So much so that she became one of the food bloggers for this festival!

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

Numerous events will take place throughout the entire month of April including foodie dinners, markets, eating competitions, tours, degustations, talks, tastings and many more. Celebrate Easter this year with a variety of activities especially for the kids!

There is an Eat Drink Perth Passport of offers which can be picked up from the Perth iCity Kiosk in Forrest Place and in venues feature in the booklet. Lots of offers to browse through and use!

1) Espresso Martini Appreciation Society
What: Fans of espresso martini can now come together in an event celebrating this refined cocktail. Guests will be treated to three different varieties of the acclaimed beverage. Enjoy drinks and nibbles at the bar and be entertained by live music.

2) Fashion Friday with Wesley Quarter

3) The Public House
What: 2 day festival in Wolf Lane, transformed into an outdoor gallery. The laneway will be buzzing with hawker markets, local music, pop-ups and creative installations!

4) Songkran Festival Perth 2014
What: Taste of Thai Culture and join in the celebrations for Thai New Year. There will be Thai food stalls, entertainment for the whole family and the crowning of Miss Songkran.

5) Perth City Easter Fun Day
What: A day of the Easter fun for the kids with a giant inflatable maze, bunny and chick petting zoo; workshops for basket-making; happy Easter bunnies and gingerbread decorating, free chocolate eggs, and the Crunchy Munchy Carrot Show.
