Taste of Perth Announces Its Star Attractions
PERTH, WA: Perth is in for a treat this Autumn, as Langley Park’s stunning surrounds are transformed into foodie heaven for the world’s greatest restaurant festival, Taste of Perth, served up by Virgin Mobile.
As well as bringing together the latest, greatest and hottest of Perth’s restaurant scene all in the one location, there will be an array of interactive attractions and masterclasses giving guests the unique opportunity to interact with expert chefs, mixologists and sommeliers.

The three-day event being held from the 2nd – 4th May, will also feature over 40 restaurant dishes and over 60 artisan producers, all of which is set to deliver a delicious day out. Restaurants include Co-op Dining, No4 Blake Street, Bib & Tucker, Nobu, Greenhouse, Silks, Print Hall, Lalla Rookh, Bistro Guillaume and el Público.

Taste Kitchen presented by Foxtel’s LifeStyle FOOD
Join River Cottage Australia’s Paul West, as seen on Foxtel’s The LifeStyle Channel, along with Perth’s top chefs as they share the secrets of their favourite dishes; offering tips and advice to those who are serious about food. Watch the professionals cook up a storm with a series of pan rattling demonstrations that are sure to entertain. Demonstrations are free to attend.
Brookfield Place Table Talks
Take a seat at the Brookfield Place Table Talks and join chefs, producers, cocktail gastronomists and sommeliers in a series of innovative culinary discussions and ‘how to’ sessions. Led by a panel of experts from some of Perth’s leading venues, including the Print Hall, The Trustee, The Heritage, Choo Choo’s, Sushia, Bobeche and Bar Lafayette – the Brookfield Place Table Talks will teach you prized skills and expert knowledge from some the industry’s best.
Sample a selection of local and imported beers in the ‘Beer Hall’. There will be a series of free master classes held during each session, with free tastings of up to six beers and ciders. Meet the brewers and producers themselves in a guided class on how to taste beer & cider, learn about the brewing process and the ingredients found in beer, including malted barley, hops and yeast.
Sensology Presents ‘The Art of Cocktail Making’
Expert mixologists will take guests through a simple, step by step guide to making and serving some of the world’s most iconic cocktails, demystifying the art of cocktail making and turning visitors into the ultimate cocktail party host. Best of all, guests get to drink their very own cocktail masterpiece at the end of the class!
Lurpak® Cookery School
Weave your Magic in a series of 30 minute cooking classes focused on simple, quality ingredients. Using Lurpak’s quality Danish butter, guests will learn how to whip up Minute Steak with Cafe de Paris Butter, Ravioli with Salmon in a Nut-Brown Butter Sauce, and the perfect Salted Caramel.
Rekorderlig Cider Bar
The custom built ‘Beautifully Swedish Rekorderlig Star’ will be a stand out attraction at the festival. It will showcase their Swedish winter favourites; Orange-Ginger Cider and Winter Cider, along with their entire range of delightful flavours. Guests can sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere while sipping on warm cider and listening to some great music.
Seats + Beats
In an alluring combination of food and music, Taste of Perth’s title partner Virgin Mobile will present ‘Seats and Beats’ – a non-stop entertainment bill of top-notch live bands and DJs performing to complement to the festival’s culinary offerings.
