The Sapore Espresso Bar is a modern cafe located opposite the Belmont Forum Shopping Centre on Belmont Avenue. I have heard about this trendy cafe awhile back but did not have a chance to pay it a visit until recently, and it did not disappoint!
Sapore Espresso Bar serves fresh homestyle food and coffee, using the best available seasonal local ingredients in their dishes. They make their own muffins, hollandaise sauce, baked beans, assorted cakes, mayonnaise and pesto, granola and many more! Awesome! It was not that busy when my sister and I arrived so we got a table straightaway, and luckily so, as it became very busy not long after.
The PFEs were recently invited to review the food at Miss Maud and I chose the pastry house in Belmont Forum as it is located close to where I live. I have not been to the Miss Maud in Belmont for quite awhile and was surprised to read some less than happy reviews on Urbanspoon prior to visiting. I’d always have a good impression of the store, plus it is always busy on the weekend every time I walked past! Hmm, what is the real story?
The PFEs were invited recently by Menulog to try out their online ordering system for takeaway food. Having not ordered anything from the internet before besides the occasional pizza from Dominoes, I decided to give it a go. The perfect opportunity came last Friday as it was raining cats and dogs and dinner delivery to the house seemed very attractive!
